EN 9 U-Control Power Pack

The EN 9 U-Control power supply is specifically designed to energize needle ionizers and discharge mandrels, which are used for electrostatic discharge inside filling vessels. This process prevents sticking and deposits on vessel walls, ensuring cleaner filling operations and supporting subsequent compressed air blow-out cleaning.

Principle of Operation

The EN 9 U-Control transforms mains voltage into an optimized 4–6 kVAC AC output, ideal for needle ionizers and discharge mandrels. It features a monitor output, enabling continuous process monitoring, which is particularly valuable in industries like pharmaceuticals.

The unit also supports clocked operation and includes integrated overload protection, which automatically shuts off the device in the event of a fault.
